Fullbag longboards Elise model

The Fullbag Elise (Patrick Switzer Pro Model)
has been released!

The first production run was sold before they were finished and another run is being put into works.

The board is supporting an east coast style of riding and developing the brand of Fullbag Skates a Quebec company.

Thoughts behind the shape:

The pointy nose suits the Fullbag style and reduces weight while still keeping real estate where you need it.

The narrowed mid-section reduces weight and creates a pocket where the deck widens for your back foot. This pocket allows you to put more force on the deck while sliding and a good reference for placement of your foot.

The tail at the heel of the back foot is much wider than usual on a top mount. On slalom and free-ride boards you see this, as to give more leverage for slides with a nice high sharp concave.

The idea of having a small wheelbase with a large platform allows you to have maximum leverage and stability while keeping the riders weight as close to the wheels for more controlled slides, faster maneuverability, tighter turning radius through corners, and less weight.

Testing by Patrick Switzer

I'm happy to say that the deck construction is solid. I've put the Elise through hell through the 2009 season, with absolutely no respect for the limits of the construction. It has held up and truly suprised me. I thought I'd have broke a few by now.
